call to action (Photo credit: Sean MacEntee)
Landing Pages are also referred to as Call-to-Action Pages. After you have created your Call-to Action campaign, landing pages are where you want your visitors to find more information that can lead to a conversion. Collecting data may also be your objective. Keep these pages simple, as the message or offer is the most important aspect.
- Main navigation is not included.
- Never use homepage.
- Reduce resistance to visitor
- Use pertinent form
More on landing page forms next time.

One of my classes this summer is Consumer Science. I am learning consumer/ marketing variables and how to apply them marketing and consumption decisions. Another subject is lifespan development. Demographics, values, subcultures, American class system, family structures and group influence are used by marketers to create target markets for their products.

These Infographics are the best and are on my wall now.
SEO has changed over the years from simple META tags to social media marketing. Very cool!

Read about what went wrong with the new GAP LOGO on CreativityOnline.com and some industry-pros response.
Once a marketing brand has been updated to the masses, it’s very hard to take that bad taste away. Did Gap do any market research? Lord knows they can afford it. It’s just another example of not knowing your audience as well as you should.

Your logo is a visual representation of everything your company stands for. Think of McDonald’s golden arches or the Nike swoosh – these two impressive logos embody these companies well. But many companies still skimp on developing this key identity piece. Text and graphics combine to create a brand recognition. I recently did some logo work in Illustrator. But first, I was turned on to a great font site, called dafont.com. The site has great free fonts and web dings. The best thing is that you can look at the fonts with specified text. Check it out.
